Deane's Comments (rates this release 4.5/5.0)
Despite the fantastic setlist the Sheila E. show is a bit, well, boring. Her stage presence hasn't improved over the years and the show drags as a result, feeling like 2 hours rather than 1. The reason to recommend this set comes from the 3 Prince concerts, all of which are excellent. The first is largely a piano-based set which contains several songs never performed before. The second is more band orientated and ends on a wonderfully bouncy arrangement of 'Peach' that is far better than the studio version. The third show is solo acoustic Prince - stripped down, simple and stunning. Truly unique and truly magnificent.
