Deane's Comments (rates this release 4.25/5.0)
The first of the Celebration events. Prince rolled out many songs for this which had not been performed for a long time, or in some cases at all - 'Anna stesia', '4 the tears in your eyes', 'Man-o-war', 'Adore' etc. 'Adore' is extended beyond 10 minutes and is a real highlight. Ex-Revolution members Brownmark and Bobby Z are brought back for a reunion of sorts on 'America', though Bobby Z missed one of Prince's cues and was 'substituted' as a result so he's not on for very long. Some of the guest appearances come across as being a bit too self-indulgent but overall this is a great show.
