Performances are great. The sound Is rather poor overall.

Dale's Comments  (rates this release 3/5.0)
This is a wonderful concept. One of the best things about soundchecks is the number of rarities that get performed is usually greater than you will find in Concerts or aftershows. This release has some true gems on it, even though the sound quality leaves a little to be desired.

Mike's Comments  (rates this release 2/5.0)
A semi-interesting round-up of soundcheck material from December 1998. Most of the songs played are incomplete as the band's aim is to ensure the instruments sound right rather than to rehearse the songs as such. Most of the songs did find their way into the setlists of the short Winter '98 tour and it's much nicer to hear how they sound there than in the soundchecks featured here.
