This release comes with the description of being 'The Lost Kim Basinger Album' and all tracks listed are credited to Prince on the sleeve. I am highly sceptical of Prince's involvement in any of the opening 9 songs. Prince undoubtedly worked on tracks with Kim Basinger when they were dating, however the bland, uninteresting songs here are surely NOT the results of their recording time together. The songs are dated, very unprofessional and lack any hooks. The addition of 3 remixes of Soul Psychodelicide make this release a little more interesting and enjoyable - however even they cannot rescue this terrible release.

I had heard about the existance of this album a long time ago, but I didn't believe it until I held it in my hands. During the Batman/Graffiti Bridge period Basinger and Prince were an item. The only thing that makes this CD special is that it has three versions of soul psychedelicide.

Dale's Comments  (rates this release 1.5/5.0)
There is a reason this album never saw the light of day. It's because Kim Basinger can't sing worth a damn. Her voice is flat and uninspiring, much like one of her other attributes. The only thing that makes this release worth a second thought are the three Soul Psychedelicide tracks.

Mike's Comments  (rates this release 1/5.0)
It has been suggested that Prince had no involvement with this unreleased Kim Basinger album and when you listen to it you can tell why. You can also tell why it was never released. Every single one of the tracks is lifeless and forgettable and this album has curiosity value only. The bonus tracks are excellent but they are all available elsewhere.
