I heard about this show a long time ago and never thought it would make it to CD as the circulating tapes were rather bad. Well, this release is an improvement over the tape, but not by much. The sound well, is pretty poor.The show is great and the packaging is just beautiful.

Prince usually uses aftershows to showcase new songs, dust off old classics from his back catalogue, and indulge in covers of songs he's fond of. There's none of that in this aftershow, however, and he plays what is more or less an edited form of the regular Diamonds and pearls show (all of the songs played, bar 'I've got my mind made up', featured in the main tour setlist at some stage). Ultimately, then, a bit of a let down.
