Pretty damn cool! The graphics are wonderful and the content is great. The interface has some of the problems that digital works have when made in MFactory rather than MacroMedia Director. Each Moonraker release for The Artist or Prince has graphics from the packaging, a short sample of the audio, location information and a few even have video samples. A great reference piece and very enjoyable.

This is a nice release, but honestly I would prefer to have more in-depth info in one area or another rather than the 'little of this, little of that' approach.

An interesting mix of videos. The Hard life mini-film is a real curiosity - directed by Prince it stars most of his band at the time of filming plus various members of Madhouse (with Madhouse tracks supplying the soundtrack). Without wishing to give too much away of the 'plot', a couple of criminal bums (Wally Safford and Greg Brooks) are bailed out of prison by rock star Jill Jones who then invites them to her party... The end credits reveal that it was 'Misdirected by Prince', which just about sums it up. It's interesting to watch (in the same way a train wreck is interesting to watch) but it's no lost classic! There's much of interest in the rest of the video material but the fixed-size windows they play in are all very small, sometimes around only 200px wide. It's a fairly minor gripe though, and if you need to be entertained for an hour or so there are worse things to choose than this.
