Everything
here is sourced from some form of official release, so the sound quality is as
one would expect - in fact in some cases the quality is surprisingly better than
one would expect. A couple of the early tracks still have some minimal surface
noise, but they are really only audible at high volume with headphones. The
collection appears to be in chronological order using the date of release, but
my one and only bitch is the lack of singles from Around The World In A Day here
- no 'Pop Life', 'Raspberry Beret', 'Paisley Park' or 'America' - I understand
they are identical to the album versions, but it's still a glaring gap from one
of his most important periods. Other than the lack of Around The World In A Day
material, I have no complaints, and this is an enjoyable run-through documenting
a pretty staggering 8 year period.
